I was sitting on my porch the other day colouring some new ideas, when I heard a light thud beside me.
This beautiful little hummingbird was aiming for the red flowers reflected in the window. She fell into my crayon box, stunned and breathing very fast but her eyes still looked bright.
I’m happy to say that she flew off without serious injury. Sometimes we need to be reminded of life’s fragile side to help us appreciate what we have and keep us strong.
